Stan the student, Stan in a band, Stan the last of the hopeless romantics and the list goes on… But who is Stan? This is how the concept developed. Archived photos, unexposed film and unreleased magazines were unearthed for the first time in 20 years. Each photograph has a story embedded within; however, the imagination runs wild when these are unknown. Every moment is caught in a brief snapshot, frozen in time. The concept explores the different personas of “Stanley (Andrew) Vincent” throughout the years as a student, a musician, a lover and a Hi-Fi magazine editor from the 70s to the 90s and how this influences style and aesthetic. The collection pulls on aspects of 80s flamboyance and rustic elements.
